CC Sabathia will opt out of his 7 year 161 million dollar contract with 4 years left & 92 million dollars left owing. No other team wool pay him $23 million/year for 4 years. The Yankees will be competing against themselves & will add a year & more money. He will be productive for a few more years, but not
for the length of the new contract.
